VACATURE MINOWC INFRASTRUCTURE OFFICER07-10-2019
On January 29th 2016, the Government of Suriname (GOS) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) signed the Loan Contract (no. 3603/OC-SU) concerning the continuation of the Basic Education Improvement Program in Phase II (BEIP II).
The objective of the Program is to increase the learning outcomes of all primary school students and improve the quality and internal efficiency of the basic education system in Suriname. BEIP phase II complements phase I by means of updating and improving curriculum content and processes; improving access to better schools and teacher housing in the interior; building capacity at school level and within the MOESC.
Under the Loan Agreement, executed by MOESC, the Program Management Unit (PMU) of BEIP II, intends to apply a portion of these funds to eligible payments under the contract of a Infrastructure Officer to be selected and hired. PMU of BEIP is seeking qualified Surinamese citizens to fill this position.
The selection of the individual consultant will be conducted based on the evaluation of the qualification and experience of each candidate to perform the Terms of Reference. Interested eligible candidates may obtain additional information from the Infrastructure Officer at the Basic Education and Improvement Program (firstname.lastname@example.org) and inspect the Terms of Reference at the address given below from October 14th — October 25th 2019, between 9.00 A.M — 2.00 P.M.
Qualification requirements include a minimum of three (3) proven experience in the construction sector or equivalent experience. a University degree in infrastructure, architecture, construction, Project Management or equivalent qualification.
The latest day to submit a CV and application letter is the 28th of October, 2019, no later than 3.00 PM (Suriname Time).
